currently has an opening for a Senior Program Analyst (Communications Strategist and Tasker Manager) with active TS/SCI, for the Defense Information System’s Agency (DISA). This role will require to report onsite at the Ft. Meade, MD location 5-days a week with some CONUS travel in support of the Government Customer. Responsibilities

Provide subject-matter expertise, consultation, and advisement for the development and execution of the Government Customer’s communication strategy Design and develop a change management roadmap, strategic communications plan, and campaigns for Government Customers Provide communications expertise to ensure clear, effective delivery of messages to stakeholders, by assisting in development, execution, and evaluation of strategic communication initiatives by monitoring stakeholder buy-in and engagement Perform stakeholder management and coordination to gather information, perform research and gap analyses, document challenges and opportunities, adjudicate feedback, and provide recommended courses of action Translate the client’s vision into publications, brochures, facts sheets, reports, presentations, speeches, blogs, web pages, newsletters, and other related print/electronic media products Apply innovative storytelling principles and techniques to convey complex technical concepts into a range of communications products that are visually appealing for both non-technical and technical targeted audiences Develop concise and compelling talking points, white papers, executive briefs, leadership messages, announcements, and correspondence Develop content for the client’s website, including blog posts, articles, and leadership messages Ensure all products maintain heritage to prior documents and follow a consistent message or explain changes as needed Ensure the communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision for the program Recommend new and innovative communications tools and tactics to increase visibility and awareness of the client’s mission and accomplishments Coordinate, publicize, and host periodic events, including working groups, training sessions, and meetings to highlight programs and initiatives of importance to the client Provide planning and logistical support for meetings, forums, and training, and track the effectiveness of these events Assist Government leadership in coordinating tasks and information across discrete workstreams to keep them informed and aligned to the overall vision and schedule Draft correspondence on behalf of Government Leadership for review/approval Coordinate communications, including calls and responses to emails, with stakeholders or their staffs at all levels Monitor, task, and track DISA J6 internal and external staffing actions Prepare and route tasker and staff action packages internal and external to the organization Perform technical writing/editing, editorial consultation, proofreading, or overall documentation review for various documents, ensuring correct format and grammar Qualifications

10+ years of experience providing strategic communications support for a large complex organization Experience managing and leading a strategic communications team for a Federal Government Public Affairs and/or Strategic Communications Office Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring the effectiveness of change management and strategic communications plans Extensive knowledge of and experience using the DoD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS); exceptional task management skills Experience preparing, routing, and monitoring Tasker and Staff packages in accordance with the DoD Correspondence Manual Experience tracking and managing incoming and outgoing tasker and staff packages Experience working with classified systems and environments Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills Must be a self-starter and able to manage competing demands Strong public speaking ability on both virtual and in-person platforms Experience briefing senior executives with little notice and preparation Experience working with disparate teams to form consensus Experience writing clearly and succinctly for diverse audiences across various formats Experience developing and editing presentations, reports, and strategic messages to explain technical information Experience applying innovative storytelling principles to convey complex concepts in visually appealing formats Advanced skills in SharePoint, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs Education

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline Security Pre-Requisite
