Curtis Media Group has an immediate opening for a Program Director/Airshift for 100,000 watt 96.1 WBBB (Variety Hits) in Raleigh-Durham, NC – Market #37. As Program Director, you must have solid on-air skills, be able to coach air talent, manage promotions staff, have social and digital media capabilities, and most importantly, understand how to win with both ratings and revenue. Responsibilities
Play a lead role as Program Director for 96.1 WBBB, a live and local station. Possess strong on-air skills and the ability to coach air talent. Manage promotions staff and coordinate with clients and listeners. Utilize social and digital media capabilities to engage audiences and support station goals. Focus on achieving success in both ratings and revenue. Maintain enthusiasm and a passion for radio, fostering a positive listener experience. Qualifications
Proven success as a Program Director. Ability to use today’s technology to create compelling radio. Expressive, polite, and responsive in person, on the phone, via social media, and in writing to listeners, clients, and staff. About Curtis Media Group
