JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the P&L for the marketing organization
Lead the forecast process for company-wide marketing spend through the maintenance of detailed financial models
Drive month-end close processes in partnership with Accounting and Corporate Finance, and analyze variances between actual results and forecasts
Partner with Marketing team to track financial performance of marketing initiatives and report against key performance indicators
Assist with annual budget and long-range planning processes
Deliver monthly and quarterly reports to senior leadership team, highlighting key trends
Partner with Business Intelligence team to define and develop refined reporting capabilities
Complete invoice and contract reviews to ensure alignment with financial forecasts and budgets
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or accounting
5-7 years of relevant work experience as a financial analyst, management consultant, or in a strategic accounting role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel. Understanding of Power BI is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform detailed analyses and summarize key takeaways
Ability to prioritize one's workload to complete deliverables in a timely manner
Exhibit continuous improvement mindset to identify process pain points and partner with stakeholders to implement change
Experience working in the media and entertainment industry or within a marketing finance function is preferred
Experience in Oracle Essbase, Oracle Planning and Oracle EBS is a plus
The base compensation range for this position is
$100,000
to
$115,000
commensurate with experience.
