Staff Technical Marketing Engineer

is a critical role for the CIAM Technical Marketing team. The ideal candidate is a force multiplier, blending deep technical expertise with exceptional communication skills. In this role, you\'ll bridge engineering teams and our audience of developers, architects, and business leaders. You\'ll transform complex features into compelling stories, demonstrations, and educational content that resonate with a global audience. Responsibilities

Technical Content Creation:

Develop and maintain high-quality technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, sample applications, and documentation. Focus on showing developers, security architects, product managers, and IT admins how to integrate and build with our CIAM platform. Storytelling & Demos:

Craft narratives around our product capabilities and identity standards. Drive live demos and presentations that showcase the power and simplicity of our platform. Video Production:

Plan, script, record, and edit technical videos, including tutorials, product overviews, and deep-dive sessions. Thought Leadership:

Represent our company and product at conferences, meetups, and webinars. Share vision, inspire others, and foster a community around our platform. Prototyping & AI:

Use prototyping tools (such as Figma) to visualize new features and user flows. Explore and demonstrate practical applications of AI within the CIAM space from end-user and developer perspectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with product management, engineering, and sales to identify key technical differentiators and translate them into market-facing content. Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Technical Marketing-related 4+ years of technical product marketing, product management, or sales engineering experience for an enterprise IaaS or SaaS company or developer platform. Proven track record of marketing to a highly technical audience within large organizations. Comfortable working with technical buyers within enterprises. Demonstrated experience in developing technical marketing content, enablement training, and tools. (Samples of your work are welcome.) Coding & Development:

Strong experience with modern development practices and tools. Experience with APIs/SDKs, AI and vibe-coding in languages like Next.js and platforms like Vercel. Proficient with VSCode, Github, and Postman. Comfortable building and deploying full-stack applications. CIAM Expertise: Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and user management (OIDC, SAML, SCIM). Direct experience with Auth0 or other CIAM platforms is a plus. Communication & Storytelling:

Ability to simplify complex topics for a range of audiences, from junior developers to C-level executives. Video Production:

Proficiency with video editing software to produce professional technical content. Design & Prototyping:

Experience with Figma to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that communicate product concepts. Presentation Skills:

Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities for polished technical talks. AI Acumen:

Practical experience with AI technologies, both as a user and as a builder integrating AI into applications. Education:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Compensation & Benefits

The annual On Target Earnings (OTE) ranges vary by location. For candidates in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington, the OTE range is $147,000 — $221,000 USD. Canada ranges from $117,000 — $175,000 CAD. Details include base salary, incentive compensation, equity (where applicable), and benefits such as health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid leave.
