Overview
As our Communications Associate you will research and analyze complex issues and judge newsworthiness of information to meet NSPE member needs. Monitor engineering industry and professional engineering issues to develop content for various channels. Assist in writing and editing for newsletters, a magazine, website pages, press releases, copy for other departments, and other content. Contribute to updates and postings on NSPE’s social media channels. Cultivate strong relationships with NSPE members and other key industry stakeholders. Responsibilities

Contribute to updates and postings on NSPE’s social media channels. Cultivate strong relationships with NSPE members and other key industry stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; two years of relevant experience or a mix of education and experience. Strong writing skills to produce a wide range of content, including news and feature stories. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn new skills and processes. Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram); familiarity with Canva, media monitoring software, and Higher Logic Thrive platform is a plus.
