Overview
Regional Marketing Manager - St. Louis at FGMA Architects. This role leads rev-gen marketing efforts at the regional level, focusing on proposals, presentations, and collateral to drive revenue growth. Works closely with marketing coordinators and regional practice teams to create compelling materials and content. Responsibilities
Partner with practice leadership to research upcoming opportunities and track solicitations aligned with FGMA’s business development strategies. Lead and manage the entire proposal lifecycle from go/no-go decisions to reviewing RFQs/RFPs, outlining, developing, coordinating, and submitting final proposals. Lead proposal kickoff meetings and strategy sessions; review RFQ/RFP requirements; conduct research and analysis on prospective clients with the practice team; develop win themes and customize content. Ensure responses meet all RFP/RFQ criteria. Train, mentor, and guide marketing coordinators, delegating tasks as needed. Source, integrate, and edit content from various authors into cohesive narratives; coordinate technical content, manage design/layout, and ensure brand consistency in proposals and presentations. Use proposal management tools (Asana, Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint) to manage strategy, content, schedules, and tasks; Participate in internal and external debriefs and track content in the CRM system (Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint). Interview and Presentation Preparation
Lead the development of interview presentations and associated materials; Support project teams with interview strategy and rehearsals for interviews; Track relevant content in the CRM system and facilitate interview rehearsals with constructive feedback. Content Management
Oversee the creation and regular updating of personnel resumes, proposal content, brochures, project descriptions, and other marketing collateral; Maintain brand consistency and messaging across all collateral materials. Conferences
Collaborate with the events coordinator to manage all conference aspects, including registration, logistics, graphics and collateral, lead tracking, pre- and post-conference promotion, client events, presentations, and budget approvals. Demand Generation Support
Provide topics and content ideas for press releases, social media, and website aligned with FGMA’s brand standards and marketing strategies; Support regional awards strategies, tracking and submissions in partnership with the project team and copywriters; Track milestones and community engagement events (grand openings, groundbreakings, photography needs) with project teams. Data Management
Utilize FGMA’s CRM system (Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint) to capture and manage marketing information; Maintain records for clients, contacts, and opportunities; help capture and maintain project data for key portfolio projects; Create reports and searches to utilize CRM data. Performance Metrics
Work with the marketing director to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred). 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing or business development within the AEC industry. Passion for proposal development and winning work; strong proposal management skills (planning, organization, problem resolution, and resource management). Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and the marketing team; ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines; collaborative in remote and in-person settings. Commitment to protecting confidential information; strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset; strong written communication and organizational skills; positive, energetic attitude; self-starter and independent worker. Software proficiency: Advanced InDesign (candidates may be tested before hire); Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator; Familiarity with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint CRM and Open Asset is a plus.
