The Social Media Manager role will facilitate the publishing and creation of content for our corporate social media channels. You'll also be responsible for quality assurance across all social channels and will lead the employee advocacy program for social media. You'll be pivotal in translating how our investments in AI, the Equifax Cloud, and our differentiated data assets are shaping the future. Your work is critical in showcasing our innovation and customer-first approach to a global audience. The position reports to the Social Media Director, operating in close coordination with Corporate Communications, Enterprise Content, Talent Acquisition and regional Social Media teams. This sole-contributor position works from our state-of-the art global headquarters located in Midtown Atlanta, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week. (This is NOT a fully-remote role) What youll do
Manage social media marketing channels
Analyze user engagement, social media post metrics, and conduct competitor and content analysis
Use advanced social media analytics tools to facilitate issues management and understand trends
Build and manage a proactive social content calendar that aligns with brand campaigns, cultural moments, and community engagement opportunities
Manage and grow our employee advocacy program for social media across the enterprise
Manage corporate social media processes and training documentation requirements
What youll need
Bachelors degree in English, journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field
3-5+ years of experience in content development, professional writing, social media and/or public relations
Strong writing skills with the ability to adjust voice and approach for a variety of audiences, including social media
Keen attention to detail, knowledge of AP Style, and a deadline driven approach to content creation
Ability to work collaboratively in a team based environment within a heavily matrixed organization
What will set you apart
Proficiency with Google Workspace including Gmail and Google Drive, Slides, Sheets, Docs and Calendar
Experience with Sprout Social or other social media publishing tools
Paid Social or paid media experience
Managing the social media presence of senior leaders and management
