The Lumistella Company is a global intellectual property company dedicated to bringing Santa’s North Pole to life for children around the world through consumer products, original entertainment and brand experiences. We are home to The Elf on the Shelf, Elf Pets, and Elf Mates. The Sr. Full Stack Web Developer will provide front-end enhancements and software development while also supporting back-end delivery and web application stability. This role provides operational support to internal departments and end users for all systems within the CCA and B, LLC Digital ecosystem, including the CMS (WordPress), cloud hosting (AWS), ecommerce (Shopify), email and SMS marketing platforms (Mailchimp and Attentive), mobile apps, game development, domain routing/management, reporting systems, and other third-party SaaS solutions. The role will architect and design new web-based features focused on user experience, interfaces, and accessibility. The Sr. Full Stack Web Developer will supervise external and internal resources to ensure digital marketing systems meet stakeholder needs under the direction of the Director of Web Application Development. We’re looking for someone who is technically skilled and also brings curiosity, humility, and clear communication to a highly collaborative team. Responsibilities

Develop and implement custom WordPress plugins and themes to enhance usability, speed, experience and ease of use of TLC websites. Develop, test and deploy mobile responsive features. Provide development implementation and ongoing DevOps (CI/CD) support for all digital marketing systems to internal and external customers and partners. These systems include ecommerce, websites, email/SMS marketing, public/private apps, CMS, domain routing/management, reporting/analytics, accessibility/regulatory systems, and other third-party SaaS solutions. Develop custom reports / queries for website and user analytics (Google Analytics, MySQL, and/or SQL). Define, design, and develop the infrastructure that securely and compliantly houses TLC customer content. Assist Customer Service in implementing custom automation rules, triggers and macros for ticket management within Zendesk. Manage third-party application integrations via APIs (Cloud SaaS integrations). Consult with the development of custom HTML email templates. Make expert recommendations on new systems to facilitate compelling and compliant customer experiences as the business grows. Lead in troubleshooting and problem solving as needed. Provide systems training to internal marketing teams and other departments to ensure systems are understood and utilized. Create and conduct user acceptance testing and manage QA process; responsible for internal testing prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all digital IT systems. Proactively monitor, report and make recommendations regarding the scalability, performance and availability of systems. Monitor and protect TLC systems from cyber attacks; train for and learn about new security risks and apply necessary patches. Support IT initiatives and projects as directed by IT leadership; Protect company assets through proper asset file management and adherence to information security policies. Qualifications

Minimum of seven years of experience in web development. Minimum of five years of experience with SQL/MySQL and API development. Minimum of five years of experience with requirements, technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and implementation of software customizations. Minimum of three years of experience with custom WordPress development (theme and plugin development, management, and support); background with other CMS is a plus. Prior consulting or client service delivery experience is a plus. Experience with developing reports, workflows and metrics within software environments. Knowledge of SaaS integration via open APIs. Track record of building engaging end-consumer experiences for leading or emerging brands. Strong experience managing and supporting ecommerce solutions (e.g., Shopify). Strong experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL/SQL, React, and A-Frame; experience with interactive JavaScript and sprites is a plus. Extensive experience with ReactJS, AngularJS and jQuery; experience with Symfony (2 and 3) is a plus. Understanding of UI/UX design best practices. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple open issues; strong project management and software lifecycle skills; familiarity with Jira, Workfront, or related PM platforms. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking. Preferred experience managing cloud-based infrastructures in AWS, including serverless functions, container management and architecture. Experience in multi‑platform mobile app development and publishing (iOS, Android). Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Zendesk is a plus. Education and Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Strong experience may substitute for degree. AWS certification or equivalent experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, Developer).
