About the role :

We're seeking a visionary and results-oriented Vice President of Biddable Media to lead our agency's Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic teams. This pivotal leadership role reports to the Chief Media Officer and demands strategic acumen and forward-thinking leadership. You will unify our biddable media efforts, champion AI and emerging technologies, and ensure we stay at the cutting edge of digital advertising to continuously improve performance for our clients. The ideal candidate is an exceptional leader, a clear and compelling communicator, and a strategic partner who can inspire teams, collaborate across departments, and articulate our expertise to clients and prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead & Develop High-Performing Teams: provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and oversight to Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic media teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Integrate teams and champion cross-training across biddable platforms to enhance resource flexibility and build a more holistic approach to biddable media.
  • Mentor the next generation of leaders, helping them become strong managers, trusted client partners, and impactful contributors in new business pitches.
  • Manage resources and allocation across new business pitches and clients.
  • Drive Innovation & Future-Proofing with AI: collaborate with data scientists and engineers to identify, evaluate, and implement automation and AI-driven tools, ensuring consistent use across all clients.
  • Anticipate future trends as AI becomes more integrated into user experiences on platforms like Google and Meta, maintaining proactive strategies and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with overlapping channel teams to analyze and determine the optimal route to market for client campaigns, maximizing efficiency and impact.
  • Understand direct platform ecosystems (e.g., Disney Campaign Manager) and leverage these alongside an integrated, cross-channel view to optimize performance.
  • Champion Growth & Thought Leadership: serve as the agency's lead biddable media expert in new business pitches and contribute to industry discourse.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 15+ years in biddable media (Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic), with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or VP-level role within a media agency.
  • Proven track record of managing, integrating, and developing large cross-channel teams; strong vendor relationships with major platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) and analytics/ad-tech tools.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI/machine learning within media strategies and operations.
  • Strong business development background with ability to present strategies to C-level executives and contribute to pitch wins.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, mentoring, analytical capabilities, and communication. Strategic, forward-thinking, and collaborative with cross-department influence.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.

The base salary for this position is $200K-$225K.

This range is posted in compliance with Pay Transparency laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to receive additional Known benefits.
