The Director, North America Channel Marketing will be responsible for driving the company’s marketing strategy in the U.S. and Canada and executing a wide range of integrated marketing programs to enhance the Gordon Brothers brand within the marketplace.

The role will work closely with the broader corporate marketing team and manage external agencies in the region to ensure all North America marketing initiatives are consistent with the firm’s global brand and messaging. This position requires a candidate with a blend of strategy, creative and analytic expertise as well as a hands-on approach. Responsibilities
Increase Gordon Brothers’ market penetration in North America by overseeing the channel marketing function responsible for developing and driving marketing strategy to support business development efforts. Develop and implement channel marketing strategies aligned with business and sales strategy that drive brand awareness of individual business lines within the markets they serve Develop and execute deal marketing campaigns, including PR, print and online advertising, email, social media and website updates for online auctions and private treaty sales Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and channel partners Manage budgets for channel marketing initiatives to ensure optimal resource allocation Monitor and report on the effectiveness of channel marketing programs, analyzing market trends and channel performance to inform marketing strategies, optimize marketing efforts and drive revenue growth Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to achieve departmental goals Develop and execute a thought leadership platform that enhances the Gordon Brothers brand within the marketplace Establish engagement programs across email and social platforms to increase brand awareness for Gordon Brothers and our services, elevate the profile of our experts and engage our clients and partners Build and maintain relationships with professional and trade associations Closely manage and engage with third-party providers and agencies, to scale programs and drive awareness while maintaining relevancy for the brand Oversee creation of effective thought leadership and content across multiple formats, including: Written, visual, digital and video; Press releases; Print and digital advertising; Pitch documents, case studies and marketing collateral; Email, direct mail and newsletters; Social media; Speaking engagements and byline articles; Conferences, events and sponsorships Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred 15 or more years of business-to-business (B2B) marketing/communications experience, preferably within a financial/professional services sector, experience with M&A, turnaround, retail and/or industrial industries a plus Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders and influencing and engaging effectively Proven record of successful development and execution of marketing plans in North America Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership skills with ability to drive the marketing agenda forward and achieve results thought others Well-rounded marketing skills and strong business acumen Proactive, highly organized, dynamic and resourceful Excellent written and communication skills Good interpersonal skills, able to work with people from all levels, and solicit support from colleagues Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to act as a brand ambassador ensuring consistency and qualify across marketing initiatives Results-oriented with attention to details and ownership in the execution of marketing activities Strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), experience with Salesforce, email (Marketo, Hubspot, etc.) and social platforms and/or project management software (Asana, Monday, Workfront, etc.) a plus Gordon Brothers offers a very competitive total compensation package, including base salary and bonus plan, health insurance, dental benefits, a generous 401(k) match, time off benefits, and more.
