We are an electronic retailer of jewelry and lifestyle products headquartered in Austin, Texas with a team of approximately 450 people. Our products are sold through TV (Cable, satellite, Telcos and OTAs), our website, OTT, marketplaces, and social media.
We are the US retailing unit and subsidiary of Vaibhav Global Limited (VGL) - a publicly listed company in India. The other retailing units of VGL Group are in the UK (Shop TJC) and Germany (Shop LC, Germany). VGL Group is a vertical business, having its own manufacturing and sourcing units in India, China, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Our service to the community is run through our Your Purchase Feeds program under which each retailing unit donates one nutritious meal to a school-going child in India, the US, the UK, and Germany for each item sold through all its platforms. Your Purchase Feeds has current run rate of over 54,000 meals per school day and has provided over 50 million meals to kids in need in US, UK and India until now. Our mission statement embraces the ambitious goal of distributing one million meals each school day to children in need by 2040. We believe that Your Purchase Feeds provides more than just a meal: it feeds the hearts, minds, and futures of children.
We are committed to protecting the environment by constantly working on reducing our carbon footprint and becoming net zero by 2030. Our factories in India fully functions on solar power and has Platinum level LEEDS certified factory. Our US buildings are Gold level LEEDS certified.
Responsibilities
- Manage Gem Fest end to end from invitations, participation, engagement, workshop planning, merchandising, host meet ups, favor gifts, getting new local customers every time and making Austin the center of Gemstone knowledge and experience at ShopLC.
- Manage scheduling, budget, internal communication, and deadlines of ongoing marketing & brand projects.
- Work with multiple departments such as Merchandising, Creative, Video Content, E-Commerce, Social, Planning, Sales, and Broadcast to perform marketing initiatives, support existing brands, and implement new brands.
- Support Private Label Brands with various projects including launching new brands; establishing existing brands; achieving improved style and brand recognition through consistency in the look on TV, on the Web, in print, and in packaging.
- Manage multiple vendor relationships in an organized and professional manner.
- Analyze and measure data associated with marketing executions and promotions. Conduct statistically based responses and financial analysis of assigned Marketing activities.
- Review available data analysis including customer shopping habits, etc.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Managing weekly and Monthly Focus group calls, Gem Workshop, Sweepstakes etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business/Marketing. Multilingual skills are highly desirable in English, Spanish, Chinese, and/or Hindi.
- Skills in print creative are desired.
- Ability to coordinate and lead online and in-person focus calls and workshops with our customers.
- Must be a professional interdepartmental diplomat and ambassador.
- Ability to identify good ideas, sell them to the managers, and once approved see them through to completion with key stakeholders demonstrating excellent self-starting abilities.
- Readily own mistakes and implement solutions to avoid making the same mistakes in the future.
- Able to receive and action constructive criticism for ongoing development.
- Customer database marketing experience.
- Project management experience with strong organizing skills.
- Creative, innovative, and results-oriented.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated analytical capability.
- Understand campaign analytics across multiple channels/media including classic direct response metrics of response rate, conversion, and cost-per-acquisition.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Social Media trends and use.
- Strong verbal, written & in-person communication skills.
- Attention to detail and follow-through are essential.
- A drive to learn and a passion for marketing. Self-starter and ability to follow through.
- Ability to effectively utilize various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Monday.com, etc.
