Job Type : Full Time Location : New York, New York Pay : Great Pay! Job Description What you will be doing:
- Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development Manager to develop and implement marketing and business development initiatives for the Northeast region.
- Understand local practices, office initiatives, and representations of key clients.
- Prepare business development materials, including drafting pitches, collaborating with attorneys on proposals, managing and submitting responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and producing collateral materials.
- Conduct, request, and analyze research, preparing pitches, proposals, presentations, and client-facing documents using existing and new content.
- Draft, edit, and distribute marketing materials, internal newsletters, press releases, seminar materials, invitations, client updates, and other communications as needed.
- Assist in planning and executing client events, seminars, and webinars, including invitation drafting, registration list maintenance, marketing materials coordination, logistical arrangements, and on-site support.
- Assist in coordinating attorney participation in marketing profile-raising events.
- Provide PR support, including drafting press releases, internal and external communication, social media posts, client updates, and other communications.
- Evaluate sponsorship opportunities based on ROI and strategic criteria and handle preparation of materials and conference book ads.
- Support attorney onboarding and integration.
- Maintain mailing lists, create spreadsheets, track data, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Provide back-up services to the marketing department as needed.
- Manage a variety of short and long-term projects and attorney requests.
- Maintain office and practice specific content and compile information for directory and ranking authorities such as Chambers USA, IFLR, American Bar Association, Law360, US News/Best Lawyers, etc.
- Create and maintain records of the firm's specific practice experience using the firm's experience database.
- Develop relationships with attorneys to serve as a point of contact for day-to-day requests and marketing/business development needs.
- Ensure information flow from attorneys to the marketing team related to attorney biographies, practice area updates, experience tracking, press releases, and new team members.
- Collaborate with marketing professionals throughout the firm, including communications, marketing research, RFP, events, and creative teams as needed.
- Gather research and analysis on targets, industries, and judges with the marketing research team for business development purposes.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Two to four years of relevant experience in marketing or business development.
- Experience at a law firm or other professional services firm is preferred.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
