Designer Drafter Autodesk Inventor Job Description:
The Designer Drafter Autodesk Inventor position will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings for custom industrial machinery, contributing to projects that are vital to our clients' operations. The candidate'sexpertise will play a key role in the development of innovative solutions tailored to meet specific manufacturing needs. Must have solid CAD skill level from experience in custom metal machining and fabrication sector to ensure precision tooling and machinery for reliable, smooth and durable continuous industrial manufacturing processes.

Designer Drafter Autodesk Inventor Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed production drawings from existing models in Inventor
• Develop and/or modify detailed CAD models and technical drawings for custom machinery and components.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Utilize Inventor CAD software to create accurate designs and drawings.
• Nice to have: Ability to use Finite Element Analysis to ensure design integrity under operational conditions.
• Review designs for compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Assist in assembling prototypes based on CAD designs and provide feedback for improvements.
• Maintain organized documentation of design revisions and project progress.

Designer Drafter Autodesk Inventor Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role in an engineering and machining environment.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software Inventor 3D Modeling Software.
• Knowledge of FEA principles and experience applying them in design work.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to machinery design.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
