Based in Portland Oregon, we work primarily in the 11 western states with regional offices in Reno, NV; Phoenix, AZ; Richmond, CA; and Salt Lake City, UT.As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work with our estimating and construction operations teams to produce qualification packages, proposals, and presentations to support the pursuit of new work opportunities. The marketing coordinator works with the Marketing Manager to develop internal and external marketing materials and manages the project and corporate information used to support these efforts. This position is in-office, full-time at our headquarters in NE Portland.The Marketing Coordinator at Harder will perform the following daily tasks:Lead the coordination and production of high-quality proposals and interview materials, including document management, technical writing, editing narrative, gathering images, proposal layout, and coordinating sub-consultant informationLead the organized collection, vetting, storage and maintenance of marketing information (such as personnel resumes, project org charts, headshots, photography, etc.)Organize and lead proposal kick-off and other review meetings both virtually and in-officeEnsure timely proposal deliverables by managing self and other members of proposal team, including monitoring progress, and managing the proposal process and scheduleMaintain marketing files and databasesChampion social media efforts across multiple platforms Develop unique events/conference material/collateral materialStay actively involved in professional marketing/graphics/communications organizationsProvide support and excellent client service to other areas of the companyAdditional duties as assignedWhat you will need to be successful in this role:Strong skills in time management, organizing, researching, proofreading, writing and editingAbility to plan, multi-task, track progress toward deliverables, and meet tight deadlinesSkills to organize meetings, supporting meeting facilitation and note taking to collect informationExperience developing social media campaigns across multiple platformsDatabase management, presentation development and preparationData entry skillsKnowledge of marketing fundamentalsTeam-player mindsetDetermination and dependabilityA willingness to learn Other skills that would be great to have but aren't required include:Experience in proposal planning and coordinationExperience in document layout and production experienceKnowledge of the AEC industry and construction project fundamentalsEducation/Experience:Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the AEC industryBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or similarExpertise in Adobe InDesign (additional Creative Cloud experience a plus) The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager and regularly interacts with the Business Development department and other firm leadershipBenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits - 100% of employee premiums are paid by the companyGenerous retirement package includes: 10% retirement contribution made by the company and a company match up to 2% of your annual salaryProfit sharingDiscretionary annual bonusPaid vacation and holidaysHarder University training and development, as well as other paid professional development opportunitiesTeam environment that promotes individual growthHMC reserves the right to perform a drug screening and background check, as may be required, and this offer may be contingent on passing a drug screening and background check.
