About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development and Marketing to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive, data-driven, multi-year fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission and goals. This includes securing financial support from a diverse range of sources, setting and achieving stretch goals, and overseeing the planning and execution of various fundraising events and campaigns. The role also involves cultivating relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors, as well as partnering with the Board of Directors to increase participation and fundraising. In addition to fundraising, the VP will lead marketing initiatives, including the development and implementation of marketing strategies and annual plans focused on brand building and community visibility. The VP will also oversee internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all organizational communications.
Applicants for the Vice President of Development and Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelors degree with at least ten years of supervisory experience in a related discipline, or a Masters degree with at least seven years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role requires a candidate with mature interpersonal and professional skills, good communication abilities, and a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment.
