The Lauren Ashtyn Collection (TLAC) and TYME are looking for a creative and highly motivated TikTok Director to lead and execute our TikTok content strategy across both brands' pages. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on trending short-form content, brand storytelling, and community engagement.
The TikTok Director will be responsible for creating, filming, editing, and posting engaging videos that align with TLACs luxury hair brand and TYMEs innovative styling tools, while also managing both brand TikTok pages.
This person will be on-site at our Greer offices and Spartanburg salon locations to create content and will travel 30% of the time to our pop-up events and industry gatherings to capture behind-the-scenes, customer experiences, and live content.
Responsibilities:
Daily Content Creation & Posting:
- Manage and grow both the TYME and TLAC TikTok accounts.
- Create and post a minimum of 3-5 TikTok videos per day per brand, featuring trending audio, behind-the-scenes, client transformations, hair tutorials, product showcases, and brand highlights.
- Ensure 2-3 TikTok Stories are posted daily on both accounts to engage and interact with the audience.
- Have experience with TikTok Shop, including product tagging, live selling strategies, and promotional tactics to drive engagement and conversions.
- Create content optimized for TikTok Shop sales, influencer collaborations, and brand awareness.
- Film and edit high-quality, engaging short-form videos using CapCut and other editing tools.
- Stay ahead of TikTok trends, sounds, and challenges to keep TLAC and TYMEs content fresh and viral.
- Utilize dynamic storytelling techniques to showcase wigs, toppers, hair transformations (TLAC) and curling tools, hair straighteners, and styling hacks (TYME).
- Conduct weekly analytics reports to track content performance, engagement, and trends for both TikTok pages.
- Adjust content strategies based on whats working best for growth, engagement, and conversions.
- Test new content formats, captions, and hashtags to continuously improve reach.
- Travel 30% of the time to TLAC and TYME pop-up events, trade shows, and industry gatherings to capture live content.
- Work on-site at our Greer and Spartanburg offices and salon to film content featuring customers, transformations, and product demos.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction on TikTok.
- Work closely with our marketing and content teams to align TikTok strategy with overall brand goals.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing and growing TikTok accounts (personal or brand).
Experience with TikTok Shop, including product tagging, live selling, and promotional content.
Expertise in CapCut editing and short-form video storytelling.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategies.
Proficiency in video editing apps/software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).
Ability to work on-site at our Greer & Spartanburg locations.
Willingness to travel 30% of the time to capture content at events.
Creative mindset with a strong eye for storytelling, branding, and audience engagement.
