Social Media & Event Coordinator Intern

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Event Coordinator Intern to join our marketing team! This part-time internship is perfect for a college student eager to gain hands-on experience in social media management and event coordination. You'll help us create engaging content, support our online presence, and assist with community eventsall while learning valuable skills in a real-world marketing environment.

Schedule: Part-time, flexible (willing to work around school schedules) Up to 20 hours a week

Compensation: Paid Internship, Starting at $15/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating social media content (posts, stories, photos, and short videos).
  • Help maintain a posting calendar and brainstorm fresh ideas to engage our audience.
  • Support community events (planning, setup, and attendance as available).
  • Capture photos and videos during events to be used on social platforms.
  • Interact with followers by liking, commenting, and responding to messages.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and suggest creative ways to apply them.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Current college student (Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field preferred).
  • Familiar with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A creative thinker with an eye for visuals and storytelling.
  • Friendly, outgoing personalitycomfortable engaging at community events.
  • Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage part-time hours around school.
