Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to fill a contract

Sr. Web Developer/ CMS Administrator . In this contract position, you will perform highly complex (senior-level) computer systems analysis work and serve as the primary Drupal and WordPress administrator for the agency's website. Responsibilities

Design, develop and administer the agency's Drupal website and WordPress blogs Plan, develop, and maintain web and browser applications to support Library programs and operations. Train team members in Drupal development and website management best practices Participate in and provide information in cross-agency workgroups in the implementation of standard web page templates and enterprise usage of web applications including: Drupal, WordPress and in-house applications Maintain up-to-date system and network documentation Status updates on identified risks, challenges, and upcoming maintenance activities Qualifications

A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the following: Experience using the PHP programming language within the LAMP or LEMP software stack to develop and maintain applications Experience designing, developing, and administering enterprise websites, tools, workflows, and modules using a Content Management System Experience developing within common web development frameworks and extensions (Laravel, Django, Symfony, etc.) Experience with Drupal and WordPress website administration and management Proficient knowledge of the Linux operating system and CLI Knowledge of system development methodologies, programming concepts, computer equipment and operating systems, and development environment procedures Experience using Python programming language within the LAMP or LEMP software stack to develop and maintain applications (preferred) About This Position

W2 Contract Rate: $68/hour Contract Length: 1 year Onsite in Austin, TX The Peak Performers Difference
