Overview
As the Assistant General Manager at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of a vibrant, high-volume campus dining program. This position is primarily focused on morning shift operations (TuesdaySaturday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., off Sunday and Monday). In this hands-on role, you will manage and motivate a team of associates, uphold uncompromising standards for food quality and service, and support operational and financial objectives. A passion for hospitality, excellence, and client satisfaction is essential. Flexibility is required to occasionally support evening or weekend events aligned with student life and campus activities. Responsibilities
Lead and support food service operations in alignment with budgetary goals, driving value for the client. Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional food and service to students, faculty, staff, and campus guests. Build and sustain collaborative relationships with associates, campus partners, and clients. Provide daily team leadership, quality assurance, and operational execution. Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure account success. Qualifications
Must be available for early morning shifts (TuesdaySaturday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), with flexibility to occasionally support nights and weekends for special events. 24 years of progressive food service management experience in campus dining, restaurants, hotels, healthcare, corporate, or military environments. Strong culinary and operational expertise, including purchasing and cost control. Demonstrated financial and business acumen. ServSafe Certification preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet-based applications. Associates degree preferred. Compensation and Benefits
Salary:
