Our client is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer from Utilities and Energy industry to support a growing energy client by designing and updating engaging e-learning content and training materials. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of hands-on experience in instructional design, with expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise, and a strong focus on compliance and regulatory standards. This is a hybrid role based in Carmel, IN, with 3 days onsite per week. Key Responsibilities
Update and enhance existing e-learning modules for improved engagement and effectiveness. Design and develop new training materials, including interactive e-learnings, video tutorials, in-person training content, job aids, and infographics. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with learning objectives. Apply ADDIE and L&D best practices to create high-quality instructional content. Ensure all training materials meet compliance and regulatory requirements. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible learning content.
Required Qualifications
3-4 years of experience in instructional design or content development. Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. Experience designing compliance-focused training materials. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in learning design, e-learning development, or related fields.
