Position Overview:
The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for managing all communications for the Recruitment, Admission and Financial Services (RAdFS) teams of the Graduate Programs Office, ensuring a consistent and strategic message across all units. This position focuses on creating marketing materials, presentations, developing email templates in Marketing Cloud, and supporting a cohesive communication strategy. The Specialist will collaborate closely with leadership, attend key meetings, and play a pivotal role in aligning communications with the office's goals.
Days and Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hybrid schedule availability. Salary Range:
$49,140 - $55,000; to commensurate with education and experience. Key Responsibilities: Implement a communication strategy for the RAdFS team, ensuring consistency across recruitment, admissions, and student communications. Collaborate with leadership to ensure messaging aligns with departmental goals and initiatives. Create and manage email templates using Marketing Cloud for key recruitment and admissions campaigns. Develop marketing collateral such as newsletters, flyers, and digital content to support student and financial services communications and events. Ensure all communications reflect a consistent brand message and align with the school’s overall communication guidelines. Participate in selected leadership meetings to advise on communication trends and ensure messaging remains cohesive. Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns, using data to inform leadership of suggested decisions and improvements. As this is a new role, the manager will take on additional responsibilities as needed, contributing to the growth and evolution of the office's communication efforts. Desired Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or admissions operations, preferably in a higher education setting. Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Marketing Cloud) and experience in creating consistent, strategic communications. Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with leadership, admissions, and recruitment teams. Experience with data analytics tools and reporting for communication campaigns. Ability to adapt and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
