About The Role

The Advertising Manager’s primary responsibility is to work with a specific set of commerce clients to create, manage, optimize, and report on marketing campaigns. In this role, you will work directly with a variety of businesses across different product categories and play a major role in driving sales and enhancing brand awareness on Amazon, Walmart and other commerce platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Advertising Strategy
    • Develop short- and long-term advertising strategy aligned to client goals.
    • Execute strategy with minimal oversight; escalate complex scenarios to Sr./Managers as needed.
  • Channel Execution
    • Reliably execute Amazon search strategy with minimal QA required.
    • Build DSP skills and expand knowledge of other retail media networks (e.g., Walmart).
    • Understand client objectives and KPIs; manage day-to-day optimization and pacing with minimal oversight.
  • Spend & Performance Management
    • Manage spend up to $1.25M per quarter.
    • Manage to net revenue targets for the book of business.
  • Client Communication & Presentations
    • Contribute to client calls and presentations to discuss strategy, weekly optimizations, and business fluctuations.
    • Craft slides with minimal feedback on design and storytelling; respond to client communications in a timely manner with minimal support.
  • Collaboration & Autonomy
    • Demonstrate strong cross-channel collaboration with account teammates.
    • Fully adopt internal processes; complete required trainings on time; manage time tracking and PTO processes.
    • Develop routine account strategy and optimizations with minimal support.
    • Seek guidance in more complex situations (e.g., performance challenges, frequent goal changes, attribution/incrementality strategy).

About You

The essentials:

  • 1-2 years Amazon advertising experience in client-facing role or in-house
  • Strong client-facing communication and slide-building skills.
  • Ability to autonomously execute Amazon search strategies.
  • Experience managing spend of at least $500K per quarter.
  • Foundational knowledge of Amazon Advertising Console with all relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Amazon DSP a plus

Salary Range: $58,000—$69,000 USD
