Full Time • Manhattan

FT, Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Health Insurance.

As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of the physical production of signs, including preparing substrates using the proper machines and techniques to construct products according to written instructions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, a team player, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-construction
• Follows a layout to place computer-generated vinyl or full color graphic images on a substrate or medium
• Prepares substrates for application (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, maintaining)
• Weeds excess vinyl from computer-cut images
• Performs finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces
• Performs installations at customer locations or other off-site locations as necessary
• Reports inventory levels and stock to the center manager/production manager or franchise partner
• Helps unload and store raw materials and maintains storage areas
• Performs routine machine maintenance and minor repairs as needed
• Performs other duties as needed (e.g., answering phones, front counter, customer consultations)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
• Basic math skills
• Previous sign or print industry experience a plus
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and apply vinyl letters and graphics
• Ability to use light power equipment
• Team-oriented and able to work without direct supervision
• Punctual, reliable, and responsible

Compensation: $30,000 - $40,000 depending on experience
