Overview

Columbia Heights Library Page (part-time).

Responsibilities

• Sorting, shelving, and locating library materials.
• Providing customer service.
• Preparing materials for lending.
• Maintaining the appearance of library spaces.

Schedule

Approximately 10-14 hours per week. Must be available to work 2 to 3 shifts each week. Available shifts are Monday – Thursday, 4:00–7:30 pm and Saturday, 9:45 am–5:15 pm. Must be available to work every other Saturday.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• One year experience and/or training in the operation of a computer.
• Ability to lift loaded delivery bins (approximately 20 pounds).
• Customer service experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in a library setting.
• Fluency in a language other than English, preferably Spanish, Somali, or Arabic.
