Job Description

Sheppard Memorial at the Bethel Library - 201 Ives Street, Bethel, NC, 27812 - is currently seeking a Federal Work-Study Student to serve as a Margaret Little Blount Library Desk Assistant.

Duties include:

  • shelve books
  • help patrons find library materials
  • check-in and check-out library materials
  • assist with children’s programs and activities
  • help patrons use library computers

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

To qualify you must:

  • Qualify for Federal Work Study
  • Be dependable
  • Be prompt
  • Be friendly
  • Be able to put things in alphabetical and numerical order
  • Be able to use a Square register but will train
  • Be computer literate
