Job Summary

B&A is looking for a talented and experienced UI / UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in designing and developing user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications.
  • Design and develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that meet business needs and user requirements.
  • Develop front-end code using modern web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Ensure that user interfaces and experiences are optimized for performance, accessibility, and usability.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end code with back-end systems.
  • Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to continuously improve user interfaces and experiences.
  • Keep up-to-date with new UI / UX trends and technologies and provide recommendations for enhancements to existing systems.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, graphic design, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and developing user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of UI / UX design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Kendo UI
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, and Figma.
  • Experience with front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Knowledge of back-end development technologies such as Node.js and Express is a plus.
  • Understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and usability best practices.

  • Ability to work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Security Clearance

  • Eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
