Job Title: Video Coordinator

Team: Dallas Bulls

Reports To: Head Coach / Director of Scouting / General Manager

Position Type: Full-Time | Coaching & Analytics Staff

Position Overview

The Dallas Bulls are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Video Coordinator to oversee all aspects of video operations, including film capture, breakdown, analysis, and distribution. The ideal candidate will support the coaching staff and players with game footage, scouting film, and analytical breakdowns to inform strategy, player development, and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Film Capture & Breakdown: Record and edit team practices, games, and workouts; organize and tag footage; break down film by play type, personnel, and situational context.
  • Scouting & Opponent Analysis: Compile and analyze film of opposing teams; create custom film packages; assist in pre-game and post-game video presentations.
  • Technology & Software Management: Maintain video equipment, software, and storage; use tools such as Hudl, XOS Digital, Catapult, SportsCode; manage digital film library and timely delivery of footage.
  • Player & Coach Support: Provide individualized video cutups; support film sessions and team meetings with high-quality video content; assist with live capture and instant playback as needed.
  • Travel & Game Day Duties: Travel with the team as needed to manage game-day video operations; ensure camera setups are functional.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Film, Communications, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in video operations within collegiate, professional, or elite sports.
  • Proficiency in video editing and analysis software (e.g., Hudl, SportsCode, Synergy, DV Sport).
  • Strong understanding of the game, terminology, and tactical concepts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to work under deadlines.
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

Preferred Attributes

  • Passion for sports, coaching, and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience creating visually engaging presentations for team meetings.
  • Familiarity with performance data integration and analytics tools is a plus.
