Overview
Support the activities and operations of the shop service desk; prepare documents necessary for the activities and operations of the fleet division including invoices and work orders; assist vendors and customers with invoice and fleet inquiries; maintain the data information systems for the Department and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

High school diploma or GED; and
Three (3) years of experience maintaining, processing, and retrieving records and preparing reports.
Maintaining, processing, and retrieving records and preparing reports within a fleet management operation preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by the date of hire.
- Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from the date of hire.

- Operations, services and activities of a fleet maintenance program
- Modern and complex principles and practices of computer information systems
- Modern office procedures, methods and equipment including computers
- Basic mathematical principles
- Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations
- Perform mathematical procedures at a speed necessary for successful job performance
- Interpret and explain City policies and procedures
- Prepare clear and concise reports
- Communicate clearly and concisely
- Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Operate office equipment including computers and supporting word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work including City officials and the general public
