Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Sr Analyst, Digital UX Designer to design, deliver, and drive key user experience and user interface design activities across multiple web and digital platform environments. Responsibilities include resolving complex issues using application consumer products and design thinking to reach simple and elegant solutions within the scope of web development projects; strategizing on the vision, creating process flows, site maps, wireframes, design assets, style guides, prototypes and collaborating with developers to deliver industry-best digital experiences; contributing to aligning product architecture designs and technology to understand audience/consumers/customer demography and behavior; analyzing data from user/usability testing and drawing conclusions to achieve benchmarks or industry parameters while adhering to accessibility and standards; developing knowledge of customer journeys, personas and segmentation within the portfolio of value streams; utilizing user-centered design approaches to define customer problems/opportunities with cross-functional teams to develop concepts, wireframes, and prototypes through facilitation and hands-on work; partnering with accessibility, research, and content strategy resources to ensure solutions meet the needs of all users and iterating on designs based on research and analytics/metrics; evaluating and recommending tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality application design; collaborating with business and technology partners to identify needs and translate them into actionable solutions such as roadmaps, journey maps, service blueprints, and prototypes; facilitating design workshops to build alignment across partners and teams; ensuring solutions provide value to users alongside business viability and technical feasibility; converting insights from workshops into clear problem statements and product/service concepts that can be visualized, prototyped, and tested; delivering innovative web and digital platform solutions that meet business needs by integrating information, process refinement, and technology; identifying opportunities to increase internal process efficiency by applying new technology concepts to existing processes; working in a fluid environment, defining and owning engineering priorities that adapt to larger goals, and communicating effectively with business partners. Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver, and drive key user experience and user interface design activities across multiple web and digital platform environments.
  • Resolve complex issues using application consumer products and design thinking to achieve simple and elegant solutions within the scope of web development projects.
  • Strategize on vision, create process flows, site maps, wireframes, design assets, style guides, and prototypes; work with developers to deliver digital experiences.
  • Analyze data from usability testing to meet benchmarks and accessibility/organization standards.
  • Develop knowledge of customer journeys, personas, segmentation, and value streams within the portfolio.
  • Use user-centered design to define problems/opportunities with cross-functional teams; develop concepts, wireframes, and prototypes through facilitation and hands-on work.
  • Collaborate with accessibility, research, and content strategy resources to ensure inclusivity and iterate based on analytics.
  • Evaluate tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality design; translate needs into actionable roadmaps and prototypes.
  • Facilitate design workshops to build alignment across partners and teams; ensure solutions balance user value, business viability, and technical feasibility.
  • Convert workshop insights into clear problem statements and product/service concepts that can be visualized and tested.
  • Deliver innovative web and digital platform solutions by integrating information, business processes, and technology; improve internal processes with novel technology concepts.
  • Communicate priorities effectively with business partners in a fluid environment; telecommuting available.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, Design Management or a related field.
  • Requires completion of graduate-level work in each of the following areas: advanced design planning methods and phased deliverables; comprehensive product development strategies; understanding of audience implications and market strategies; distinguishing innovation from speculation; design creativity and problem-solving; fast sketching and data visualization; leveraging data visualization and narrative crafting; research methods including interviews, focus groups, contextual inquiry, surveys, and questionnaires; web application user experience design; development of wireframes and prototypes based on end-user feedback and human-centered design.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $123,656.00/year to $150,000.00/year. This pay range represents the base salary for positions in the job grade. Actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive programs and may include an equity award target.
