Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Event Producer, holding duties related to successful execution and coordination for all intelligent leisure and programming events to join our team. Detail-oriented and proactive by nature, this person will play a critical role in establishing brand identity through events, bringing a creative and thoughtful approach to programming. This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to grow in the worlds of event production, RSVP management, and cultural programming while working alongside a team building a one-of-a-kind private club in Midtown Manhattan. You'll play a key role in ensuring seamless operations across our member programming calendar—from supper clubs and evening salons to museum tours and fireside chats.
Key Responsibilities
- Consults internal stakeholders as to scope, expectations, setting, menu, collateral entertainment to have a successful and appropriate event within budget
- Develops and takes direction to execute high quality events with brand-specific design, aesthetic, food and beverage guidelines
- Liaise with vendors, caterers, and Moss's operations team on setup, timing, and breakdown
- Provide on-site production support to ensure events run smoothly and elegantly
- Holds team accountable to steps of service to deliver excellent and Moss branded service
- Support guest list creation, RSVP management, and event confirmations
- Contribute to a warm, intellectually curious, and aesthetically attuned atmosphere at all events
- Maintain organized records of events, guests, and programming details
- Actively participate in team brainstorms and event wrap-ups
- This job position may be required to assist other Event Managers from time to time, based on need, workload and number of scheduled events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Operationally savvy industry professional with demonstrated leadership in managing people, events and the overall guest experience
- High volume luxury catering expert a must in fast paced and dynamic venues
- Previous experience supporting events, managing RSVPs, or working in public relations and communications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Calm under pressure, with excellent follow-through and a hands-on mindset
- Must be able to work flexible hours evenings and weekends (event-based schedule)
- Fluency in Tripleseat or other event management software
- Ability to respond effectively to continuously changing demands
- Effective use of discretion to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years\' experience in a hospitality management environment
- The ability to manage in an environment with focus on client service, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business
