Summary:

The main function of a global community manager is to manage the relationships necessary to the growth and success of the business across the globe. The typical global community manager will help to develop and implement community engagement strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee content creation and manage content calendar.
• Plan and execute content for one or more programs while collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure standards are met.
• Surface and prioritize community feedback with product team and provide feedback for group admins.
• Find businesses willing to sponsor events as part of their own community outreach.
• Write news releases to promote growth and engagement with the client community
• Focus on raising public awareness of the organization and its work
• Aide in marketing efforts to bolster the business

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in marketing and events coordination.
• Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Basic understanding in growth and community engagement.
• Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.

Pay range is $48 - $58 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
