DRB Group is hiring: Design Studio Coordinator in Greenville

JOB PURPOSE: Assists the Design Studio Manager while providing excellent customer service, this position may work individually with customers as they select interior options and upgrades. Duties and Responsibilities Under the direction of the Design Studio Manager, may work with new home customers to select interior finishes such as cabinets, counters, flooring and lighting May advise customers on interior design functions (with respect to color, functionality, budget) May research custom requests by obtaining information on materials May meet with vendors as needed Responsible for complete and accurate paperwork related to customer selections Create paperwork for all Quick Move-In homes Arrange appointment times/dates with new home customers; greet customers upon arrival to the Design Studio Other duties as assigned or expected QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and Skills Strong creative ability (Background in Interior Design is preferred) Excellent presentation skills Well organized and self-directed Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail Strong computer skills Able to establish priorities and meeting deadlines Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands Must be current with design trends in a variety of styles Must have ability to read and understand architectural and structural blueprints Must be willing to work evenings and weekends in a part time capacity Strong computer skills with MS Office and / or Builder Sales System Education and Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent and Interior Design Certificate or some college level interior design coursework;or 3 years of selling experience in design center or retail design center; or combination of education and equivalent work experience Prior experience in new home sales or design Studios is preferred
