YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

This Purchaser - Design Coordinator role follows a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule. You'll be working regular business hours, making it easy to coordinate with clients, vendors, and the rest of our team.

You will spend your day working with clients to help them pick out finishes and materials for their remodeling projects. You'll create floor plans, 3D images, and mood boards. You'll also order items like cabinets, tile, plumbing fixtures, and lighting. You'll track all purchases, make sure items arrive on time, and work with suppliers to confirm pricing and delivery. You'll also keep project details updated in our software system (like Buildertrend), and regularly check in with our project managers and field crew to make sure everything is running smoothly.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PURCHASER - DESIGN COORDINATOR:

• 2+ years of experience in residential remodeling, interior design, or a similar field
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: SketchUp, Chief Architect, or 2020 Design
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to align with client design styles (modern farmhouse, transitional, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive
• Familiarity with kitchen and bath remodel materials (tile, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, etc.)

Preferred:

• Degree or certification in interior design, architecture, or construction management
• Experience using Buildertrend or similar project management software
• Vendor and supplier relationship experience
