Job Description
Community School of Naples (CSN) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communication and Marketing Coordinator to support the school’s brand presence and storytelling. This role will focus primarily on social media management, internal communications, photography, and video production, while also providing organizational support for broader communication initiatives led by the Director of Admissions & Marketing. It is an on-site position.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, digitally savvy, and excited to capture and share the vibrant life of the school community.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across the school’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.).
- Monitor engagement, respond to inquiries, and track analytics to optimize performance.
- Stay current on industry trends, platforms, and best practices to enhance school visibility.
Photography & Videography
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of school events, classrooms, athletics, and daily life.
- Produce short-form videos and highlight reels for social media and internal use.
- Maintain and organize the school’s digital media library.
Internal Communication
- Draft and distribute internal communications (newsletters, announcements, faculty/staff updates).
- Gather news stories and updates from across the school community to highlight in communications.
- Assist in managing the school’s communication calendar to ensure consistent, timely, and coordinated messaging.
- Support the Director of Admissions & Marketing in ensuring effective communication strategies and systems across the school.
Marketing & Administrative Support
- Collaborate with the Admissions & Marketing team on campaigns, publications, and special projects.
- Assist in organizing and documenting school events for promotional and archival purposes.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to the Director of Admissions & Marketing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related role (preferably in education or nonprofit sector).
- Strong skills in social media management and digital content creation.
- Proficiency in photography and video production/editing (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with independent schools or education sector a plus.
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings occasionally during the peak season and events.
Physical Demands/ Ability to
- Lift/ carry up to 20 lbs.
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Sit at a desk while working on the computer.
- Bend, twist, kneel, stoop, climb, balance on a regular basis.
- Withstand outside weather conditions as needed.
- Detect and exchange accurate information.
- Have close visual acuity to perform essential functions of the job.
- Withstand a moderate noise level in the work environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The appointment is for a full-time, year-round, on-site position paid on a salary basis, commensurate with experience and other qualifications.
