Advocacy, Community, and Education , FTBOU exists to disrupt the narrative and reimagine survivorship for Black and Brown women. Through our signature initiative
Making spACE —which stands for
Advocacy, Community, and Education —we provide culturally relevant resources, safe spaces, and storytelling platforms that honor lived experiences and address the unique challenges faced by Women of Color in the breast cancer community. From peer support and wellness workshops to national advocacy campaigns and leadership development, FTBOU is building a bold movement where no woman walks alone.
Whether newly diagnosed, in active treatment, living with metastatic disease, or thriving in survivorship, every Baddie deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
About Us We use storytelling, advocacy, and education to change the narrative for women of color in breast cancer survivorship.
Role Overview Help us grow our digital footprint and connect with our community online. As our social media manager, you’ll create engaging content, manage campaigns, and keep our followers inspired and informed.
Responsibilities
Manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
Draft captions, schedule posts, and respond to messages
Track analytics and suggest content strategies
Moderate Facebook group, reply to comments and engage with audiences
Ideal Candidate
Social media savvy with experience using scheduling/analytics tools
Creative storyteller who understands engaging visuals and captions
Passionate about building inclusive online communities
