Make Your Impact Within a Rapidly Growing Fintech Company As a Lead Product Designer, you will play a critical role in helping our corporate card customers put their finances on autopilot. You’ll apply a critical and analytical lens to understand how customers can better manage their finances with BILL. You will refine and improve our existing core product capabilities and explore opportunities to expand our core product offering to better help customers put their finances on autopilot. Key responsibilities include: Building products that engender trust between customers, vendors, and BILL Understanding and solving problems at their core Leveraging BILL’s robust capabilities in new and innovative ways for our customers Key Responsibilities

Navigates ambiguity, tackles intricate design problems, and drives innovation while orchestrating design strategy for multiple projects. Identifies opportunities to create user-centered solutions that contribute to business growth. Demonstrates advanced skills in conveying design rationale and its strategic implications. Leads design projects and delegates work to junior designers and cross-functional partners. Provides direction and guidance to the design team, acting as a role model and mentor to lower-level designers. Influences overall product/design sub-teams. Leads discussions and cross-functional collaboration to achieve project goals, aligning design with broader product and business strategies. Requirements

Experience:

8 years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design projects from concept to launch. Previous experience in FinTech or a related industry is a plus. Skills:

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Business Acumen:

Understands the broader business strategy and guides the team to balance user needs with significant business impact and ROI. Product Design Craft:

Sets a high bar for design quality within the team, guiding the creation of exceptional user experiences that adhere to and evolve design systems, while balancing constraints. Customer Centricity:

Champions a customer-centric approach, ensuring user needs are central to the design process and that solutions are validated through user feedback. Influence:

Influences design direction and process for the product area, fostering innovation and advocating for user-centered design with leadership and cross-functional partners. Communication:

Communicates a clear vision and strategy for design within the product area, articulating the value of design to stakeholders and inspiring the team. Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Visa Sponsorship:

The estimated salary ranges vary by location and experience. For San Jose, CA and Draper, UT, BILL offers competitive base salaries and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays and paid time off, and other company benefits. Salary ranges noted below are estimates and may vary by candidate and location. San Jose pay range:

$161,700—$194,000 USD Draper, UT pay range:
