RR Donnelley is adding Presentation Designers to their New York City team!

This is a Hybrid role working 3 days in office, 2 days remote

The Presentation Designer is responsible for creating templates, backgrounds, and presentations incorporating information graphics, charts, metaphorical graphics, and diagrams for our bulge bracket, global investment banking client. In this role, you will primarily use PowerPoint and secondly Adobe Creative Suite software. Presentations will range from RFPs to Company’s pitches and any internal materials.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Produce high-quality pitch books, presentations, and client memoranda

Import and revise graphics files as necessary

Create and edit multi-page/multi-section documents using templates and style sheets for pitchbooks, graphs, charts, presentations, and other print/design projects

Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye in terms of aesthetics

Collaborate with team members on complex or special projects

Maintain all job and production tracking data via a propriety RRD Tracking tool

Coordinate workflow within the team, including prioritizing jobs and delegating duties to associates

Monitor workflow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and within deadlines

Assess incoming requests selecting the best resources for successful completion

Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information

Train new employees on policies and procedures

Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.

Assist with monthly metrics and reporting

May work with motion graphics and multimedia work

Qualifications: Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in area relative to the business or equivalent experience required.

Minimum 4 years of professional presentation or graphic design experience.

Required Skills

Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends

Capable of translating complex data in a visually compelling way

Understands the importance of brand and can work within established standards

Adaptability and willingness to pitch in where needed

Ability to make independent decisions and use problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Deadline management which includes managing wait times and turnaround times (TAT)

Handle technical queries

Required Experiences

High proficiency knowledge of PowerPoint

Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

Knowledge of After Effects is a huge plus

Experience with charting in excel

Video editing and/or sound editing skills are a plus

Knowledge of print design a plus

Financial industry experience is a plus

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $63,800 to $97,000 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
