Responsibilities: Our Engineering team built the world’s largest cloud security platform and continues to enhance it. We seek a Senior Staff, UI Test Automation Engineer reporting to the Manager, Engineering. This hybrid role is based in San Jose, CA, with a 3-day-per-week onsite expectation. In this position, you will: Develop, maintain, and deploy comprehensive testing tools and frameworks Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and establish best practices for continuous testing Perform thorough UI verifications and validate functional requirements, including security, accessibility, and scale testing Collaborate with frontend engineering and product teams on design, scope, and technical challenges Define testing patterns and strategies to enhance test coverage and empower other engineers to use the test framework effectively What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications): 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Test Automation Engineer Extensive experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing, including translating business requirements into test plans and developing full-stack automation Experience with Git, code management tools, and modern IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio Code) What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Proven ability to own quality assurance and automation initiatives, drive issues to resolution, and collaborate with PMs, engineers, and management Commitment to software hygiene, including documentation, unit testing, and effective bug tracking Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience #LI-BH1
#LI-Hybrid Zscaler’s salary ranges are set by role and level and reflect the minimum and maximum targets for new hires across US locations. The base salary range listed excludes commission/bonus/equity and benefits.
