Industry Venture Capital & Private Equity Type Private Equity Firm About the Role The Company is actively seeking a dynamic Vice President for PPA Origination and Power Marketing. In this essential position, you will drive the commercial strategy and execution of power purchase agreements (PPAs) and other offtake arrangements for large-scale renewable energy projects. You will be instrumental in market entry, power fundamentals, and the negotiation of offtake agreements across a wide array of clean energy assets, including solar, wind, and storage technologies. The VP will play a crucial role in the company’s commercial ambitions, building and nurturing valuable relationships with utilities, corporations, and industrial players across all U.S. power markets. We are looking for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the U.S. renewable energy sector, including at least 5 years in successfully negotiating and closing PPAs and energy contracts. A profound understanding of energy markets, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks is essential, along with experience in a high-growth or startup environment. The ideal candidate will possess a robust network of industry contacts and demonstrate proficiency in creating and responding to RFPs. Responsibilities will also encompass leading the commercialization of energy products, contributing to the design of hybrid projects, and staying updated on market and regulatory trends. The VP will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that power marketing efforts are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and project timelines.
