The Marketing Coordinator executes Division administrative marketing tasks, plans and coordinates events, and performs basic digital marketing functions.

Overview

  • Social media and Customer Review Management (BBB, Google, social media) to ensure brand consistency.
  • Execute initiatives on social media platforms, Zillow and via e-mail marketing.
  • Plan and execute community events, such as Grand Openings, Showcase/Parade of Homes, and Realtor/Special events.
  • Map and logistically coordinate all signage throughout Hakes Brothers communities (Directional signs, available/sold t-stake signs, model home signs, flags and flag poles, etc.). Large signs will be installed by a contracted service provider. The Marketing Coordinator will physically install, maintain and remove t-stake signs, other small signs, flags and flagpoles.
  • Create, update and distribute various marketing materials (QMI/inventory sheets, hot sheets, base pricing sheets, pricing plaques, newsletters, digital sales packets, flyers, etc.).
  • Collaborate with teams, other departments and third-party partners for information dissemination and event planning / coordination.

Primary Responsibilties

  • Coordinate new community launches which includes extensive planning, design and execution of signage and flags, procurement and maintenance (includes developing creative files, ordering production, scheduling installation, and continuous maintenance until community close out), placement and location (includes mapping ideal route, locations via Google Maps and dropping pins).
  • Contribute to Google profile and input relevant information (i.e. Google Business page, Google Pin, and submit request for street locations).
  • Create Zillow community profile.
  • Create and schedule graphics and copy for a social media and e-mail marketing drip. Reply to all customer comments and concerns.
  • Plan, schedule and execute the Grand Opening/Release events (includes creating sales collateral, ordering supplies and marketing materials, scheduling and coordinating vendors).
  • Schedule photographer/videographers to capture drone footage, high-resolution photos and videography at various stages of the new community cycle (capturing the community, models, spec inventory, interviews, testimonials, etc.).
  • Seek out Sponsorship opportunities to help maximize sales release and brand awareness.
  • Procurement, logistical coordination and execution of:

- Photographic, videographic and drone footage.

- Signage installation and maintenance. The Marketing Coordinator will physically install, maintain and remove t-stake signs and other small signs.

- Flag installation and maintenance. The Marketing Coordinator will physically install, maintain and remove flags and flagpoles.

- Interior marketing displays, including logos, branding, informational signs, and more, for model homes and other homes that may be temporarily staged with furniture and signage.

- Digital and in-person special events. The marketing coordinator will research, call, book, and coordinate all details surrounding events such as grand openings, marketing events, lender partner events, promotional events and more. This requires the marketing coordinator to physically set up and move materials including signs, tables, large boxes, etc. take down, cleaning and storing of the materials used is also part of this responsibility.

- Distribution of Sales office materials for all Hakes Brothers' communities.

  • Create and maintain digital assets/collateral/deliverables (i.e. video and static ads for use on social media and e-mail marketing, flyers, graphics, gifs, testimonial videos, and interviews, etc.).
  • Seek out award opportunities to help build brand awareness and maximize brand exposure. Create relationships with other non-competing businesses in the area to futher grow brand awareness.
  • Routinely audit and update marketing information and material across various platforms and in model homes (i.e. New Home Feed/Zillow, listing dates on the Google Sheets Closing Trackers, sales collateral, etc.).
  • Create, update, and maintain a marketing calendar, expense tracking and receipt submission to Accounting Department, and marketing supplies/materials ordering and dissemination.
  • Provide specific details, copy, and creative materials/files to our team and third-party partners (i.e. information and rendering for listing to Listing Agents or co-branding/marketing initiatives with our title companies and preferred lender partners).
  • Digitally file and organize all content created/received in Google drive.
  • Automate processes (i.e. create templated responses to routine inquiries on Facebook).
  • Always look, dress and speak professionally.

Secondary Responsibilties

  • Backup support for Sales, Construction and closing duties/functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Required: High School diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, Journalism or related field of study

Experience / Qualifications

  • Preferred: Two to five years' relevant work experience
  • Required: Must own or have access to vehicle for daily work
  • Required: Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance
  • Required: Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop), Canva and Google Suite platforms with a good eye for visual design

Skills / Abilities

  • Strong writing, negotiation, communication, time management and creativity skills
  • Proficient understanding of digital and social media tools and technologies, including monitoring and digital marketing metrics
  • Possess a creative approach and vision for lifestyle storytelling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess strong attention to detail, organization and follow through
  • Works extremely well under pressure and is able to multi-task on concurrent projects
  • Has the ability to work on deadines, set priorities, and work independently
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on, and collaborative team environment
  • Experience in producing photography, videography, and editing skills are an asset

Physican Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Weekly driving to and from Hakes Brothers' communities
