*Dental Hygienist - Full-Time/Part-Time*
*Location:* Midtown Tulsa, OK

*The Opportunity:* We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This position is available for both full-time and part-time candidates, offering flexibility and work-life balance. As a Dental Hygienist at NDS, you will play a crucial role in providing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and ensuring their overall comfort and satisfaction.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and fluoride applications.
* Conduct oral health assessments, including medical history review, vital signs, and periodontal charting.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
* Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (if licensed and applicable).
* Take and process dental radiographs.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
* Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA guidelines.
* Collaborate effectively with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional care.
* Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
* Participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Oklahoma.
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
* Current CPR certification.
* Experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong commitment to patient care and education.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Detail-oriented and organized.

* 401 (K) Match, dental, and healthy insurance is available after 90-120 days. Paid time off 40 hours in the first year, 80 hours beginning in year two
