Locations: Baltimore, MD - Hybrid, not remote (in office Tues/Thurs + additional days as client demands require)
Duration: Fulltime
Rate - $ 110000.00 USD - 130000.00 USD

The Account Director will lead key accounts within the firms growing client roster. This role is responsible for owning all aspects of their client portfolio, inspiring teams to deliver exceptional work, and achieving results for both the client and agency. The Account Director sets the tone for each account serving as a thought leader, trusted partner, and resource for both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client accounts as the primary relationship owner.
- Serve as a trusted marketing advisor to client stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends and client market dynamics.
- Ensure work is on strategy, on time, and on budget.
- Identify growth opportunities and innovative solutions for clients.
- Partner with client leaders to align business goals, KPIs, and budgets.
- Manage account financials, including SOWs, invoicing, and P&L.
- Direct agency resources across accounts to fulfill deliverables.
- Brief creative and strategic teams on initiatives and campaigns.
- Collaborate with project management to resolve competing requirements.
- Contribute input on account activity and participate in senior meetings.
- Mentor and manage account team members, supporting professional development.
- Participate in new business pursuits as needed.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of related experience (agency experience required).
- Experience in the building materials industry is a plus.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage C-level executives.
- Proven financial acumen and experience managing large client budgets.
- Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a natural team builder.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
