This role is part of a bold expansion within the Directive family: the launch of a specialized consultancy focused exclusively on social media advertising for B2B clients, with a distinct identity built to push the boundaries of LinkedIn marketing. The right Senior Strategist with a growth mindset will join our evolving team.
Responsibilities Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
Direct support to client contacts
Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align tasks, quality, and improvements
Build quarterly strategies for clients
Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
Provide fractional support for internal marketing within Directive
Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
Be responsible for personal productivity and utilization
Work directly with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals through client relationships and professional network
Execute and optimize LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer (Qualifications) 4+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
Understanding of LinkedIn ad units such as Conversation Ads, Document Ads, CTAs, and more
Proficiency with advertising platforms such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and more
Ability to delegate to junior team members to ensure joint success
Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to drive decisions
Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
Competitive and curious mindset; a strong problem solver

Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Quality-focused with a passion for advertising
Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed

Benefits Base salary range: $85,000–$95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility; actual salary may vary based on compensation practices, skills, and depth of experience

Work Environment Requirements As a remote-first company, you’ll be able to work from anywhere in the US, with optional access to our Irvine, CA offices.
