Audio Visual / Video Teleconferencing (AV/VTC) Specialist Job at Valiant Integra

The Audio Visual/Video Teleconferencing (AV/VTC) Specialist supports the Joint Staff J7 Deputy Directorate Joint Training and Exercises (JS J7 DD JTE). The AV/VTC Specialist works closely with Military, Government Service (GS) Civilians, and Contractors preparing systems and environments, both physical and virtual, for in-person, remote, and blended meetings. This Specialist must be able to understand the organizational structure of DD JTE and the command's role in supporting the DoD Joint Training community. This is a full-time, salaried, onsite position in Suffolk, VA.

Job Duties:

• Work closely with Military, Government Service (GS) Civilians, and Contractors to provide scheduled and on-call AV/VTC support at the Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret level
• Prepare, maintain, and operate a wide array of AV/VTC equipment and applications, in both physical and virtual, local and remote, environments
• Schedule and deconflict AV/VTC support to events conducted locally
• Coordinate connectivity requirements with remote AV/VTC technicians
• Author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Train and assist personnel in the use installed AV/VTC systems
• Assist with maintenance, installation, and updating of AV/VTC systems
• Other Duties as required

• Must be U.S. citizen
• Must possess a secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements for a TS/SCI
• Experience with Joint Training System, military exercises, and Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) preferred
• Able to work with little supervision in fast-paced dynamic environments
• Able to work with Senior Government, Military, and Contractor personnel
• Able to supervise work of assistants
