Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Manager to lead a dynamic team of CAD professionals and drive excellence in configuration management, drafting, and documentation processes. This role plays a critical part in supporting engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions within a fast-paced and technically advanced energy solutions environment. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate CAD activities for complex rotating equipment. Oversee the creation, modification, and management of models and drawings using Creo and Windchill PLM/PDM. Ensure all CAD designs comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Manage Bills of Material (BOMs) to align with engineering specifications, manufacturing requirements, and quality standards. Support Engineering Change Requests and Notices (ECRNs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from creation through execution. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure alignment and efficiency. Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to CAD team members. Qualifications Proven experience in CAD and configuration management within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Proficiency with Creo, SolidWorks, and Windchill PLM/PDM systems. Strong knowledge of BOM management and engineering change processes. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
