Overview Public Relations Senior Account Executive, Professional Services (Adtech/Martech) Highwire. Base pay range: $72,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience; discuss with your recruiter to learn more. Key Responsibilities Media/Influencer Relations Maintain strong relationships with more than ten key media across business and adtech/martech industries Identify new media opportunities for clients and share with teams; regularly communicate opportunities across the agency Regular proactive pitches that generate coverage for the whole team Coach junior staff to improve team performance Engage and support efforts through social media channels Measure ROI of communications activities Engage with social media influencers, manage content campaigns and amplify media coverage Client service/management: manage projects from concept through execution Track competitors and flag opportunities and news events for commentary Lead client PR calls and provide counsel on media opportunities under challenging circumstances Develop quarterly campaigns and PR plans including creative campaigns, trendscapes and thought leadership topics Own key elements of the PR program (analysts, speaking, content, etc.) and act as a go-to resource for clients Develop budgets and prioritization for the team Participate in media training with clients and develop key messages Writing proficiencies: generate and edit plans, press releases, fact sheets, backgrounders, biographies, pitching materials, Q&As, and related documents Maintain professional client communication and craft consistent, creative pitches Agency operations: participate in new business processes, attend networking events, and lead by example Support teams and manage up and down; promote flexible work policies when appropriate Contribute to Highwire social channels and write for Highwire blog Mentor junior staff and identify areas for self-improvement; demonstrate growth and timely delivery of tasks Attend regular networking events and drive projects forward independently Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in an agency or startup environment, with focus on tech PR and engaging creative campaigns Strong writer with ability to develop plans and secure coverage; has established relationships with bloggers and journalists in the field Ability to identify and pursue media opportunities; comfortable leading client discussions Experience with influencers, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification Experience in project management, budgeting, and client service Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to mentor others Perks Competitive salary Merit-based bonuses and promotions Hybrid work model Excellent vacation policy including extended summer and winter breaks Empower Hours on Fridays; optional early log-off 401K Match Medical and dental benefits / FSA Paid Parental Leave Commuter Benefit Home office equipment stipend Growth Mindset Stipend of $100 annually for books, exhibitions, etc. Technology reimbursement Wellness benefit Donation Match Mentorship and monthly recognition programs Employee and new business referral bonuses Quarterly Highwire events and dog-friendly workplace Note The duties delineated above will vary depending on client needs and are not exhaustive.
