Description Robert Half's enterprise client is looking for a skilled and innovative User Experience Designer to join their team in Seattle, Washington or Austin, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will be at the forefront of creating user-centered designs that simplify complex workflows and deliver seamless experiences across mobile and desktop platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will transform ideas into impactful designs that prioritize customer needs while aligning with technical and business requirements. What You'll Do: Conduct usability studies to gather customer insights Advocate for user needs in every design decision Design clear, user-centered experiences for both customer-facing and internal tools Ensure consistency across our product ecosystem Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, impactful solutions Balance design vision with technical feasibility Your Day-to-Day: You'll work closely with research and product teams to understand users, test ideas, and measure success. You'll sketch concepts, build prototypes, and refine final designs. Expect a fast-paced environment where you'll improve both customer experiences and internal systems. Bonus Skills: Experience conducting user research and creating journey maps Background in designing retail or technical products Familiarity with usability principles and agile development Ability to define and maintain design standards Requirements 5+ years of UX or interaction design experience Proven ability to lead complex design projects Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work across platforms Experience working with stakeholders to drive strategic design initiatives Innovation starts with people.
