Responsibilities Build new TikTok Short Video features that touch hundreds of millions of people around the world Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems Participate in technical discussions related to the teams product and engineering work Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline Experience with coding in Python, Java, Golang, C#, or C++ Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications Curiosity towards new technologies and entrepreneurship High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities Compensation The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118,657 - $187,200 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of the Total Package and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary by location.
