We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Designer to join our team and help elevate our product offerings through meticulous technical excellence and innovative craftsmanship. **Position Summary:** The Senior Technical Designer leads the technical development of garments from concept through production, ensuring Beyond Yoga's premium standards for fit, construction, and quality. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong vendor communication, and seamless cross-functional collaboration. **Key Responsibilities:** * Create detailed tech packs with accurate specifications, construction methods, and quality standards. * Lead fit sessions and provide clear, actionable feedback to ensure consistent fit and performance. * Communicate timely and accurate fit comments; track and manage key development milestones. * Partner with Design, Product Development, and Production to ensure alignment with brand vision. * Collaborate with factories to review sample requests and respond promptly to technical questions. * Identify and resolve construction issues and quality concerns; recommend practical solutions. * Maintain current fit standards, construction documentation, and sample tracking for consistency. * Conduct regular competitor research and maintain a strong understanding of the Beyond Yoga customer. * Issue and own final graded specs for assigned categories. * Support product improvement initiatives in partnership with the Senior Manager of Technical Design.

**Additional Expectations:** * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds for sample handling and fit preparation. * This role may require an on-site presence beyond a typical hybrid schedule * May be required to attend vendor calls outside of standard business hours due to time zone differences. * Must be able and willing to travel internationally for vendor visits and production support.

**Qualifications:** * 8 years of experience in technical design, preferably in high-end or performance apparel. * Degree in Fashion Design or Technical Design (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred). * Strong knowledge of fit, garment construction, patternmaking, and grading for knits and wovens. * Familiarity with PSD systems (e.g., Optitex or Gerber) and PLM platforms preferred. * Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. * Works with a strong sense of urgency; understands calendar deadlines and can effectively prioritize multiple tasks. * Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., Browzwear, CLO) a plus
