Who You'll Work With

As a Lead, Event Marketing, you will support the event marketing of partner and industry events, helping drive impact and brand visibility for Slalom. You'll collaborate closely with our event marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders, contributing to logistics and planning, supporting strategic decision-making, shaping event objectives, coordinating with vendors, and aligning with GTM priorities to ensure every event achieves its goals.
This role is designed for a candidate with strong organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for marketing events that make an impact.
What You'll Do Demonstrate creativity and innovation in problem-solving, always tying event execution back to business impact. Support the marketing, planning and execution of partner and industry events, working with a team of event marketing managers and senior managers. Capture post-event feedback and outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement of event processes. Conduct venue sourcing and recommendations, ensuring options align with business objectives and desired outcomes. Assist in event logistics, including vendor management, budget tracking, staffing, registration, and on-site support. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure event deliverables are met. Draft and maintain event documents such as timelines, task trackers, and run-of-show schedules. Provide on-site event support, ensuring smooth execution and a positive attendee experience. What You'll Bring
3-5 years of experience in event marketing and event project management. Background in business-outcome driven events (corporate, partner, industry, or B2B marketing events). Strong logistics and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple details and priorities at once. Experience sourcing venues and vendors, with an understanding of how event choices tie to business goals. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. A creative mindset that sees how event design and experiences can deliver measurable results. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $72,000 to $100,00. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
